This job I know this a good starting point as is the company that my brother started at as a runner.
I know a lot about this company because of that and I also know my brother would help me in the application process. I also know that they have a direct career line from becoming a runner if you are able to prove yourself while doing the running.
They are one of the top companies in the Advertising film world and work on many and varied types of projects from TV commercials to Pop videos.
If you are interested in working for Smoke and Mirrors all you have to do is contact them directly by using the emails given on the website.

In away it goes with out saying that the BBC is a good place to work if wanting to work in the TV world in the UK.

You make an account and upload your CV and look for Available work in the BBC.

Many of my fathers friends work or have worked at the BBC and they have told me that once in, the BBC will train you to do all kinds of great jobs. You can start with a desk job and end up as a Director over time. So in away in does not matter what the job is at the BBC to start with get it and then later apply for jobs advertised internally and work your way to where you want to be .. which in my case would be a TV director (One day)
