I am sure I could come up with a long list of very very expensive kit the college could buy if it had all the money in the world. Sadly it does not so what I have done is created a list that is not expensive but would be very good for anyone doing my course.
Update the Macs OS to get more / new features and stop living in the pass. Look in app store on the Macs - its Free..!
You need to get Final Cut Pro X on the Macs to replace Final Cut Pro 7 because how the industry is going in that direction. It only makes sense to update to the new software.
